I made it home to Miami… what remains of it.
Blessedly, we didn’t get a direct hit, but it is still pretty much a mess around here.
My little bungalow made it through with minimal damage, and the electricity did come back on late last night. Half the state is still without power, so I feel very fortunate.
Here is what my neighborhood looks like:
But I am safe, my family is safe and I can live in my place while it is being repaired.
Thanks for all the love and light while we blew around in the wind.
Now, LET’S BLOW SOME DICKS!
Ohhhhh Ms. Daphne…I have been thinking about you the past week, especially! I am SO glad to read that you and your loved ones are all safe and OK!! I am also relieved to hear that you have power back now and that the damage is not huge! Things can always be worse, can’t they?!? Big hugs to you!! XO 🙂
Ms. Mandy… thank you SO much for checking on me. It means so much that you would.
That’s right… things can be replaced, people cannot. (Heard that a hundred million times as everyone was being evacuated.)
So glad to be back!
Hugs and kisses to you, too!
Omg Daphne so glad to hear you are ok!!!! Wow Florida really got nailed and not in the sweaty enjoyable roll over and go to sleep kinda nailed either lol. You are absolutely right things can always be replaced, but people certainly cannot that is for sure. Happy you and yours are safe and well!
Wow, that pic says it all. And to think that’s not even the worst of it! Glad to hear you made it through. I always had faith that you would though. No surprise there! I’m sure it only adds to your sexy appeal how apparently strong you are to have beat the hurricane. And I have to agree with you on one point. Let’s blow those dicks right now!
Glad you are safe. The whole situation is so sad for people impacted by the storm. My thoughts are with you all.
