What Is a Sachet, Anyway?

For those that aren’t sure what a sachet is, they have been around for eons, people gathering flower petals and herbs and enclosing them into a piece of cloth. After the sachet has been made, it is placed strategically where fragrances would be welcome:

• In clothes closets
• In dresser drawers
• In the shoe closet 
• Near pet beds 
• In the car

You can use your imagination and anywhere you want a sweeter smell, a sachet might be just the thing for you.

Variation on a Scented Sachet Theme

You might be thinking, “That’s what those hanging trees are for in the car,” or “I have those scented things that go into my electric sockets.” Sure, those are great for spreading the scent around and keeping things fresh, but using a sachet has a different purpose besides just smelling wonderful.

It’s a reminder of your feminine side.

And who doesn’t sometimes need a reminder they are a sissy or a crossdresser or a woman on the trans spectrum?

Having a sachet reminds you, every time you open your drawer or get into your car, that you are a woman. A sissy. A cross-dresser. A girlie girl. Seeing the sachet or even just smelling its scent will affirm to you that you are the woman you know yourself to be.

A More “Masculine” Sachet

Sachets are easy to make. 

Get a piece of material, cut it into a circle, put scented smell inside and rubber band each end. Voila! A sachet.

Of course you can get creative with every part of that. You can get some butch material, an item you buy or create doused with essential oils, and then close it up by sewing or twist ties or whatever your heart can imagine. Look online about how to make sachets and go from there.

What’s nice is you can choose a scent no one would consider feminine. You can choose citrus or patchouli or lavender (no lavender in the car! It is a sleepy flower) and no one would be the wiser. But every time you smell it, you would know it was a representation of that side of you that cannot be demonstrated every day.
