One part of Sissy Training often overlooked are the Nylon Stockings and Pantyhose lessons. Too many girls learn the hard way; through trial and error, how to find them, put them on and how to keep them from running all over the place.
The good news is you are not alone!
Nylon Stockings
There are many varieties of stockings: Foot, Knee-High, Thigh High, Pantyhose… and all of those have their own styles: Sandal Foot, Reinforced Toe, Reinforced Heel, Seamed, Compression, Fishnet, Panty, Sheer, Opaque… and more. See how this could get confusing! Of course I will not be covering every single type here, but I can certainly help in generalities and if you have questions, I am glad to answer,
Putting Your Nylons On
Definitely the hardest part of the nylon experience is putting them on without getting runs in them.
The second most difficult part is not running them while you are wearing them throughout the day.
Before beginning to put the nylons on, make sure your fingernails are trimmed and filed so you do not snag them on your nails or even hangnails. Some people choose to wear gloves when pulling them on; not a bad idea.
No matter the length of stockings, from ankle to pantyhose, crinkle them down to the toe and slide them, slowly, from toe to the top. SLOWLY! Putting your hose on cannot be rushed, even if you are late to work.
And up higher.
Almost Done!
When you are putting your stockings on, pulling them the last few inches is the most precarious point.
The above is the best way to run your nylons, stretching them out so far. And you also see there are no reinforcements at the waist like these:
Thigh Highs in Particular
As you who have worn thigh highs would know, keeping them UP can be quite challenging. Wearing a garter belt can salvage embarrassing retrievals of your now-down-around-your-knees nylons, especially for larger gals.
When You Get a Run
Not enough folks know what to do with a run in the hose. Clear nail polish is the answer!
The nail polish goes to the bottom of the run so it does not run down the leg any further than it has gone already.
Looking Great!
Look at These!
Now, I do not work for the company nor do I get money for talking about these stockings, but I wanted to show you Sheertex Stockings. They are expensive but are guaranteed not to run for FIFTY times wearing them! They come in sizes up to 5x (!!) and they have the wide range from knee highs to pantyhose and tights.
Hope This Helps
There is still so much to learn about stockings and I will tackle them in subsequent installments for my Sissy Training posts.
Next Up: Caring for Your Nylon Stockings!
Slowly…yes exactly Mistress Daphne! Probably the most sensual step of a dress up session is without a doubt putting on ones lace top stay ups! Carefully rolling up the stocking from top to toe knowing the shimmering delicate material will soon encase my gangly chicken legs and magically transform them (somehow) into those gurlish gams! Inserting pointed toes you slowly roll the stocking up over the ankle, calf and thigh (with leg extended straight out, match)
We’ve all seen it before so many times in movies an TV and tempo is key. (Now if you hear the front door opening speed is of the essence and just tear those things off post haste…the hell with poise and grace!)
Invariably no matter how much care we take, runs will occur.
This is not a bad thing as it necessitates yet another slightly humiliating visit to the lingerie store for another purchase.
Thanks Mistress Daphne
What a delicious picture of how you put stockings on yourself and the strategies for success.
I love it!
Beautiful imagery.
I have nylons Ms Daphne. Just need to find where they are and start wearing them with my heels/dresses. Ive worn them before and OMG my boots/heels fit so much better especially with my waxed girlish soft and smooth legs!!!
Oh, they DO feel great when you have nylons on, don’t they?
Oh, I see an area to work on. Not being able to find your stockings? That means they are not being cared for very well.
Let’s remedy that, shall we?
????
It does help!…..Great guide….luckily they aren’t too costly because i have ruined a few…..but i have begun to get the hang of it and will be using your tips as well…..Besides, winter is such a great time to wear them under my ‘male’ clothes
