But, my little submissive, at his size and shape, wasn’t ever going to get up on his tippy-toes.
And everyone all knew it. He told me how he tried, over and over to get up on his toes, but how he fell flat each time. The girls would laugh as he struggled to find the right balance. But he did try.
In our home ballet classroom, I can hear him practicing, hours on end. Thump, thump, thumping upstairs, he rattles the windows downstairs next to my chair. I never say a word because I want him to be as good as he possibly can.
Quietly, the ballet instructor tells me he is most likely at the pinnacle of his skill level. I hesitate saying anything to him because I don’t want to quash his fervor for ballet… I mean, there is a difference between amusing humiliation and really hurting your boy’s feelings.
He loves it; I will support it for as long as he wants to keep going!
